Delhi Metro Update: Red line service delayed between Shahdara and Dilshad Garden

Delhi Metro Update: Delhi metro rail operations on Red Line were affected on Saturday due to a delay in services between Shahdara and Dilshad Garden. The delay in services on Red Line is likely to cause inconvenience to commuters today.
“Red Line Update: Delay in services between Shahdara and Dilshad Garden. Normal service on all other lines,” said the Delhi Metro in a social media post on X.
Dilshad Garden stop, where services have been delayed, is one of the few stations for which the DMRC had revised metro timings, starting from August 25, 2024.
Previously starting at 8 am, routes such as Dilshad Garden to Shaheed Sthal, Majlis Park to Shiv Vihar, Janakpuri West to Botanical Garden, will now begin operations at 6 am. According to the Delhi Metro, this change aims to accommodate commuters, including students who have competitive exams often scheduled on Sundays.
